My way forward is through education, both interesting and informative, but also highlighting the very real threats that these animals create. I believe firstly, that the education of children is the most important aspect. The education of dangerous wildlife is already a part of the National Curriculum in the United States, where children are taught about the dangers of cats such as puma, as part of their regular school work. These cats, as well as being native to the USA, are already living and breeding in the British Countryside and have been doing so for many years.

First and foremost, children are the most vulnerable, and secondly, they are the new generation. With this in mind, I hold talks and slide-shows to schools and educate them on this subject. My methods in holding public talks to adults are in the same format. These are held at various venues such as town halls and conference centres, and include audiences such as the Scouts and Cubs, the Women's Institutes, Rotary Clubs, the Wildlife Trusts, County Councils and also the Young Farmer's Clubs. I also educate different police-forces on this matter in the same way, as they are usually the first port of call when someone sees a large exotic cat. Over the years, I have become an exotic cat consultant for most of Wales, Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire, West Mercia and Herefordshire constabularies, assisting them whenever and wherever I am needed.

I appear on local, national and International Television in over one hundred countries around the world, and regularly receive mail from Australia and Ireland, especially as they have the same problem with Large exotic cats as the British Isles. I also do Radio work on local and national stations, such as Radio 4, BBC Wales, Real Radio and BBC Radio Gloucestershire, I also consult for most local and national newspapers which are to many to mention, including a live web-chat on the internet.

SCHOOL'S AND UNIVERSITY'S...
Every winter as far back as I can remember through to the spring I receive telephone calls and emails from students and pupils wishing to meet me. Most have been from the University of Gloucestershire studying Broadcast Journalism, some come as far afield as London, Warwick and Wales. Their intention is to make a short film or documentary about Big Cats living in the British countryside. Young people are the new generation and education as with any subject is the KEY to the problem we have with 'BIG CAT'S' as it's not going to go away overnight...with this in mind, all this side of my work is free to students and pupils, all I ask for is a copy of their work for my records...Education, to both children and adults, is the only way forward. I intend to improve people's knowledge of large exotic cats in the British Isles.
"Simply put, we have to learn to live with new neighbours!"

"My small beginning has made a national impression. My aim is to educate everyone who talks to me with informative and interesting information, and year by year, work hand in with more and more organisations who need my help."

A poem about big cats, written by Danny's |

daughter, Candice Nineham:

Big Cat Poem | |
Big Cats are roaming around,
Lightly footed on the ground,
Some are black, some are brown,
Some are seen in the town,
My dad has photos old and new,
They look like the cats in the zoo,
The Panther leaps and bounds along,
He is so black and sleek and strong.
