Out of all of my investigations involving large exotic cat sightings, the most worrying aspect, is that there is a very serious problem of very close aggressive encounters involving large exotic cats coming into contact with people. So far, out of over two-thousand reports that i have personally dealt with, there are over seventy recorded incidents which involve actual injury and very frightening encounters. It is a fact that people have been injured by large exotic cats in Britain. Many of these people in question were totally unaware of any such large exotic cat problem in the UK. This is because the authorities still continue to deny any existence of large exotic cats such as leopard (Panthera pardus) and puma (Puma concolor) which are living in the British Isles. All this side of my work is also recorded and photographed. "Many people still think that these animals are very wary of people...however in Britain, this idea is fast becoming a myth. Large exotic cats such as leopard and puma have been seen in broad daylight as well as at night . I have recorded a sighting for every hour of the day in villages, towns, cities and back gardens throughout Britain."
The summer of 2000 saw me at Trelleck, Monmouthshire, after Chief Inspector Nigel Russel of Gwent Police called me out to investigate an incident where 11year old Josh Hopkins was injured by a female leopard in its black form which we call a black panther. There, i took charge, and flew in the forces helicopter with heat-seeking equipment surveying the whole of the Wye Valley in the hunt for a female black panther. During my investigation i was interviewed by every major television and radio show worldwide.
